a. The energy supplied per second = (200 X 106)W / 35% = 5.71 X 108 Js-1 b. The energy supplied per day = (5.71 X 108) X (3600) X 24 = 4.94 X 1013 Jday-1 So, the mass of fuel burned = (4.94 X 1013) Jday-1 / (80 X 106) MJkg-1 = 6.17 X 105 kgday-1 So, the mass of fuel is 6.17 X 105 kg per day.
